Vintage yarn

I raided my mom´s yarn stash today and came home with this lovely  1/2 skein of neon orange yarn.
Leftover yarn from a sweater my mom made me in the late 80´s.

Planning to blend it with gray in either a sweater for my daughter or a scarf for me... probably will be a scarf for me.

 I can´t seem to photograph the colour properly, it is more like the picture below
